Christmas is right around the corner and the malls are crowded with last minute shoppers. Wanting to give, but being on a college budget can put people in difficult spot. A lot of the time, the thought is all that really counts! No matter the price tag, or the size of the gift, most likely the person that receives it will appreciate the fact that you took the time to pick something out for them!

Here are a few gifts that would be nice to not only your wallet but for your loved one too:

1. Fuzzy socks: they are something everyone loves to wear, but not something they exactly want to spend their own money on. Especially around Christmas with the chilly weather among us, nothing is better than having toasty comfortable feet! 
2. A picture frame: there are many different frames out there, including some you could customize to add a personal touch! All you need is a quality picture of you and your loved one and a frame and there you have a sweet keepsake! 
3. A coffee mug: you could put a small bag of coffee or hot chocolate inside, so they have a delicious treat ready to enjoy in their new mug! 
4. Nail polish: try giving them some winter shades to go along with the season. A girl can never have too many shades of nail polish!  
5. A nice reusable water bottle: not only is it something a person could use daily, but each day it would help the environment! Instead of your loved one continually wasting money on plastic water bottles, they will no longer have to thanks to your gift!
6. Shot glass: there are many funny shot glasses out there for your buddies! Plus if you get them some cheap alcohol along with the shot glass, you could even put it to use right after they open their gift! 
7. Homemade baked goods: college students know how scarce food can be, so receiving some free food is always a pleasure! Cookies, brownies, cake, etc all can be a nice treat! If you don’t want to make the food yourself, but you know that they love to cook or bake, you can give them the mix as a gift!
