ISU Genre Music Club to perform two-day fall showcase

ISU GENRE Music Club’s two-day fall showcase runs from Dec. 4-5, starting at the Iowa Music Store and ending at the Maintenance Shop.

ISU GENRE Music Club’s fall semester showcase begins tonight at 8 p.m. at the Iowa Music Store. Day two of the showcase will resume at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow, Dec. 5, at the Maintenance Shop on campus.

Admission is $5 for each show or $10 to pay for both shows in advance. Advance two-night ticket holders can receive a free T-shirt from the GENRE club event.

Tickets can be preordered from any ISU GENRE officer or by emailing [email protected]. Tickets can also be purchased at the door.

According the the club’s website, ISU GENRE was “created for those who want to take a casual and uninhibited approach to their musicianship. GENRE (Gathering Everyone Nearby to Raucously Entertain) is a music-making club for people of all musical backgrounds and levels of experience.”
