After beating Iowa in come-back fashion on Friday night, 69-66, the ISU women’s basketball team moved its record to 5-3 on the season. 

In December, the Cyclones have knocked off in-state rivals Northern Iowa and Iowa to go to 3-0 in the month. 

Even with the recent success, Iowa head coach Lisa Bluder said this wasn’t the best ISU team she’s seen. 

“Quite honestly, I’ve seen a lot better Cyclone teams through here,” Bluder said. “We’ve come out of here with a lot worse defeats than what we had tonight.”
