Follow Daily coverage of Friday’s GOP presidential forum
November 20, 2015
Seven Republican candidates for president will gather in Des Moines on Friday night for The FAMiLY LEADER’s 2015 Presidential Family Forum.
You can follow Iowa State Daily coverage of the event across several platforms as candidates speak to the socially conservative group at the event.
Speakers will gather at a table on stage where Frank Luntz, a political consultant and pollster who often appears on the FOX News Channel, will moderate. Iowans in attendance will weigh in during the discussion with questions.
The group hosted a similar forum in 2011, with 3,000 attendees turning out at the event.
Bob Vander Plaats, president of the FAMiLY LEADER, is a well-known, socially conservative activist in the state, and candidates at the event are vying for an endorsement that carries weight with evangelical voters leading up to February’s Iowa Caucus.
