Bobby Jindal holding town hall at ISU Nov. 19

Republican presidential candidate Bobby Jindal will be in Ames next week for a town hall meeting at Iowa State.

Details about the event are below:

WHEN: Nov. 19 at 11:30 a.m.

WHERE: Campanile Room, Memorial Union

The event will allow students, faculty and Ames residents to question Jindal on any issue they are concerned about leading up to the Iowa Caucus in February.

Jindal has served as governor of Louisiana since 2008, and was elected two-terms to the U.S. House. Polling wise, Jindal has averaged only a few percentage points during the 2016 election.

The event is part of the Presidential Caucus Series from the Iowa State Lectures Program. Jindal’s event is also sponsored by the ISU College Republicans and Student Government.
