Make perfume last all day

Three simple tricks for long lasting perfume

There’s something refreshing about spritzing the latest fragrance by Chloé or Marc Jacobs before heading to the first class of the day — until you realize an hour later the aroma has completely vanished. Listed below are three easy tips and tricks to make perfume or cologne last all day.

Apply to pulse points

Scented perfume or cologne is activated by heat, therefore applying to locations such as the wrist, throat and behind the ear, where pulses are located, will cause scent to flourish all day long.

Apply behind elbows and kneecaps

It sounds strange, but applying under these joints is another way to stimulate heat, causing the perfume to release its scent after every bend.

Apply on skin

Rather than spraying on clothes that won’t soak up the scent, spray on skin to let the pores absorb the perfume.

Scent is a necessary investment for every college student’s daily routine. Keeping these tips in mind, every ounce will be used to its full potential.
