Motivational Monday
October 26, 2015
Midterm’s have finally came and passed, but along with it being the second half of the semester feeling unmotivated is common. Also with the season’s changing and the sun just beginning to rise as student’s head to their 8 A.M. classes, it can be difficult to find the motivation to attend all the classes for the day.
Sometimes a little pick-me-up is all you need, so here are a few motivational quotes to keep you from feeling bogged down with school work:
1.) “”Success is liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you do it.” -Maya Angelou
2.) “I find that when you have a real interest in life and a curious life, that sleep is not the most important thing.” -Martha Stewart
3.) “If you want to achieve excellence, you can get there today. As of this second, quit doing less-than-excellent work.” -Thomas J. Watson
4.) “A dream doesn’t become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work.” -Colin Powell
5.) “If your dream is a big dream, and if you want your life to work on the high level that you say you do, there’s no way around doing the work it takes to get you there.” -Joyce Chapman
6.) “Start by doing what’s necessary, then what’s possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible.” -Saint Francis
7.) “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do, so throw off the bowlines, sail away from safe harbor, catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore, Dream, Discover.” -Mark Twain
8.) “Build your own dreams, or someone else will hire you to build theirs.” -Farrah Gray
9.) “I have been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do.” -Leonardo da Vinci
