A second candidate to lead the Thielen Student Health Center will visit campus Thursday and Friday to meet with students and staff as well as answer questions.

Erin Baldwin, who has served as chief operating officer for the Mahaska Health Partnership in Oskaloosa, Iowa, since 2012, will be available to meet with students and answer questions in the Gold Room of the Memorial Union at 4:10 p.m Thursday.

She will also take part in a one-hour public forum in the Gold Room at 9 a.m. Friday. The forum will include a presentation on the role of student health in the education of a student and an opportunity to ask Baldwin questions.

Baldwin graduated with a bachelor’s degree in respiratory care from the University of Kansas in 2003, and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Iowa in 2006.

A first finalist for the position was announced and visited campus last week.

The search for a new director comes after a review found widespread problems with the center during the past few years.
