ISU Men’s Cross Country takes home a team title from Iowa City

The Cyclones took the top title at the Hawkeye Early Bird Invitational by running in a pack formation. This strategy also earned the team 4 top ten finishes.

The team defeated Northern Iowa, Iowa, and Illinois State with a score of 23. Keeghan Hurley led the team with a 4th place finish and a time of 19:17.49, followed closely by Toby Hardwick, Nathan Rodriguez, and Josef Andrews, with times of 19:17.69, 19:17.72, and 19:18.00, respectively.

This is Iowa State’s first win in two years.
