Board sub-committee to hold a campus safety meeting at ISU
August 30, 2015
The Iowa Board of Regents Campus Safety and Security sub-committee is meeting Monday to discuss issues related to campus safety. The meeting will be from 10 a.m. until noon and is being held at the Alumni Center.
Of the topics on the agenda, some of the highlights include updates on institutional policies, a discussion of major compliance issues, and a look at campus climate surveys take last year.
Members will also discuss the Campus Safety and Security Summit held earlier this summer. At the summit education professionals shared their best practices with their peers in an effort to make campuses a safer place for students.
