The last day for residents to preregister to vote for the Story County School Board is Friday.

If registration is submitted by 5 p.m. Friday, the name of the resident will be listed at their respective polling place. After the deadline, voters must register and vote at their polling place.

The last day to request an absentee ballot is Sept. 4. Ballots must be postmarked by Sept. 5 or handed in to the Story County Auditor’s Office by 8 p.m. Sept. 8. 

Voting will take place Sept. 8, and polls will close at 8 p.m.
