Recipe of the week: Pesto bacon chicken

Chicken can be prepared in a variety of ways and be incorporated into many dishes. Baking chicken is simple and quick, a perfect meal for a summer evening. Check out this recipe for pesto-filled, bacon-wrapped baked chicken.
Ingredients:
- Two chicken breasts, cleaned
- Eight slices of bacon
- Pesto sauce
- Shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees and clean each chicken breast.
2. Lay out four pieces of bacon in an oven-safe dish.
3. Lay chicken breast on top of the bacon and cut a slit in the middle of the breast.
4. Fill the chicken breast with pesto and top with shredded cheese.
5. Wrap the bacon around each breast.
6. Bake in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
