Dustin Lynch tickets on sale for Oct. 6 performance

Country artist Dustin Lynch will perform at Iowa State on Tuesday, Oct. 6. Tickets are now on sale for $28 each, $18 with an ISU student ID.

Doors open at 7 p.m. for the 8 p.m. show at the Jeff and Deb Hansen Agriculture Student Learning Center.

Tickets are available for purchase at www.midwestix.com. MidwesTIX also charges a $2 service fee for tickets and a 3 percent online service charge.

Lynch’s latest album, “Where It’s At,” debuted No. 1 on the iTunes Country Albums Chart featuring the hit track, “Where It’s At (Yep, Yep),” which was at the top of country radio charts for multiple weeks and has been streamed 15 million times on Spotify.

“Hell of a Night” is also featured on the album and is in the top 25 on country radio charts and continues to climb.

Tennessee-native Lynch toured the country with Keith Urban last year and will perform the ISU concert in between shows, opening for Luke Bryan’s 2015 “Kick the Dust Up Tour.”

Lynch has made appearances on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and MTV’s “Best of 2012 Concert.”

Rolling Stone praised Lynch in the 2013 “Best of Rock” issue, and Elle gave him “Best New Country Music Artist” of 2013.

Lynch was also named one of US Weekly’s “2014 Sexiest Men of Country.”

The performance is sponsored by the ISU Student Union Board and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Student Council.
