Recipe: Easy banana bread

Ingredients

– 3 very ripe bananas, peeled

– 1/3 cup melted butter

– 1/2 – 1 c. sugar (depending on how sweet you prefer)

– 1 egg, beaten

– 1 tsp. vanilla extract

– 1 tsp. baking soda

– pinch of salt

– 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

Method

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees then butter a 4×8-inch loaf pan.

In a mixing bowl, smoosh the squishy, browning bananas with a fork until smooth. Stir in the melted butter.

Mix in the baking soda and salt. Add the sugar, beaten egg and vanilla extract. Mix in the flour.

After it’s all combined, pour the batter into the loaf pan. Bake for about an hour at 350 degrees, or until a toothpick comes out clean after being inserted into the center.

Take the pan out of the oven and let it cool completely before removing the loaf from the pan. Slice and serve.
