Maximum Ames Music Festival tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Tuesday for the festival from September 10 to September 13.

The four-day festival is presented by Fighting Burrito and features more than 100 bands including national headliners, top regional acts and dozens of local brands. The festival is a vehicle for promoting the arts in Ames. Many bands live and create in Iowa.

There will be a limit of 50 early bird tickets for a discounted price of $29.95. After those are sold out, prices will increase and a Full Festival Pass will be $39.95. Individual concert tickets for headlining acts will go on sale at 10 a.m. May 26.

The shows will take place all around Ames, like the Octagon Center for the Arts, DG’s Tap House and Design on Main. All venues are within a three block radius, making for a fully walkable experience of downtown while at the festival.
