May 2 marks one of the biggest days of sports in 2015 because of the wide array of events taking place. It’s bound to be a day of make-or-breaks with sports betting and relationships alike.

Here we go. On the morning of May 2, the English Premier League soccer regular season is finishing up, and Manchester City will play Tottenham, airing on NCCS and NBCU at 10 a.m CDT.

It’s also the third day of the NFL draft when the New York Yankees play the Boston Red Sox in the afternoon. The NBA playoffs continue.

Late on the afternoon of May 2, the Kentucky Derby will take place. Keep an eye on Dortmund, American Pharaoh, International Star and It’s a Knockout.

That night, the Nationals play the Mets. The of NHL playoffs continue into the second round.

And finally, Manny Pacquiao takes on Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a much-anticipated brawl. I think everything else takes a backseat to this event.

Between the playoff games, late-season soccer matches, baseball rivalry drama, player-picks, horsies and fists, it’s bound to be one helluva day for sports.
