Five ways to prepare for the end of the semester
April 15, 2015
Three weeks and three days. That’s all that stands between you and the end of the semester. You can do it, but you need to prepare. Here are five tips for going out with a bang.
Make manageable lists.
Keep everything organized and planned so you aren’t overwhelmed. You have projects, tests, papers — everything that you don’t want to do, but have to. If you can make lists to manage your time, the items on your to-do list won’t decrease, but your stress levels will.
Schedule time to relax.
Yes, it sounds silly, but it’s good for your health to relax. Relax however you do it best: plan time outside, exercise or take a nap.
Get ready to move.
Start bringing stuff home, packing for your internship or picking out clothes for your study abroad. With packing out of the way, all you’ll have to focus on during Finals Week is finals.
Don’t forget last minute summer preparations.
Make sure you have scholarships for summer classes in line, complete the drug test for your internship, line up a part time job or other summer essentials that pertain to you.
Now’s not the time to get lazy.
Keep yourself motivated: look at inspirational quotes, take deep breaths to refocus and keep the end of the school year in mind.
