Coherence exhibit extended hours
April 15, 2015
Dan Corson’s “Coherence” exhibit in the Christian Petersen exhibit room of Morrill Hall will extend their hours in upcoming dates.
“We have had so many people ask about weekends and evening hours that we thought these days and times would be well attended,” said Allison Sheridan, collections manager and communications coordinator of University Museums.
Coherence, a laser light exhibit, opened in Morrill Hall on March 5. The exhibit includes hanging filaments, mirrored floors, false ceilings and the manipulation of dye immersed in water and lasers.
The artist of the exhibit, Dan Corson, has produced sculptures and installations all across the country. He uses art, design architecture and science to create his pieces.
The dates and times that the exhibit will have extended hours are: April 26, 1 to 4 p.m.; May 9, 10 a. m. to 2 p.m.; May 11 to 15, 11 a. m. to 4 p.m. and May 27, 6 to 8 p.m.
The exhibit will be displayed until May 30.
