Seniors leaving with names engraved in ISU baseball history

The ISU club baseball team will be parting ways with 14 seniors at the conclusion of the season. These seniors have spearheaded a change in the work ethic and competitiveness of the club that has ultimately put the program back on the map.
Players departing at the conclusion of the season are listed below.
Eric Wos: Wos is hitting .375 and has three RBI’s on the season.
Kellon Ausdemore: Ausdemore is hitting .388 with two home runs. He has also racked up eight RBI’s on 19 hits. Ausdemore also has a team leading nine stolen bases and two saves.
Austin Fichter: Fichter has five RBI’s and is hitting .280. He also leads the team with two sacrifice bunts.
Tom Weissbeck: Weissbeck is hitting .324 and has driven in seven runs. He also has three doubles in 13 games played.
Erik Rasmussen: Rasmussen is hitting .465 and has a team high 17 RBI’s. Rasmussen has racked up 20 hits and on the mound, he has one save.
Daniel Clements: Clements is hitting .450 and has driven in two runs on nine hits. Clements also has five stolen bases.
Adam Fichter: Fichter is batting a team-high .483 with 14 hits. Fichter has five RBI’s and three stolen bases.
Adam Schmidt: Schmidt has eight hits and has accumulated a .348 batting average. He also has six RBI’s and 3.00 ERA. Over nine innings on the mound, Fichter has 13 strikeouts.
Kyle Tjossem: Tjossem is batting .231 with one triple in 29 plate appearances. Tjossem also has two stolen bases.
Mitch Gerber: Gerber owns a .323 batting average with six RBI’s and two doubles. Gerber also has a team-leading, four HBP.
Dillan Dwyer: Dwyer is the ace of the Cyclone pitching staff and has a 2-1 record. Dwyer owns a 3.29 ERA and has 16 strikeouts over 13 ⅔ innings pitched.
Dalton Hauer: Hauer is batting .333 and has four RBI’s. Hauer has two extra-base hits.
Elliot Frey: Frey is in his first year of coaching the team and has led the Cyclones to an 11-6 record. He has also put them in position to be a contender for an at-large bid to the regional tournament.
Matt Wilson: Wilson, a power hitter, is hitting .261 with two home runs. Wilson has seven RBI’s and a double on the season.
