ISU coach Fred Hoiberg lamented specifically Iowa State’s lack of ability to guard the 3-point line and protect the offensive glass in recent weeks.

Iowa State is currently eighth in the Big 12 in 3-point defense, allowing conference opponents to shoot the deep ball at better than 37 percent through 11 conference games.

Iowa State has also struggled on the glass, particularly the offensive glass, surrendering more than 12.5 per game to conference opponents.
