UI Presidential Search Committee Chair chosen

After University of Iowa President Sally Mason announced her retirement on Jan. 15, the Board of Regents has taken steps to develop a Presidential Search Committee.
Jean E. Robillard, M.D., vice president for medical affairs at the University of Iowa, was chosen to chair the search committee.
Dr. Robillard oversees the University of Iowa Health Care, which includes the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Carver College of Medicine and the University of Iowa Physicians.
Mason’s Jan. 15 announcement said she planned to retire on Aug. 1, 2015, after serving as president of the university for eight years.
