Cyclone Hockey senior spotlight

As the Cyclones honor their seniors this weekend, here is a look at some of the notable nine seniors.
Mike Dopko, captain defenseman: Dopko has never been one to stand out on a stat sheet and this year has been no exception. Through 28 games, he has six points—all from assists. He also missed some time in the middle of the season due to a hand injury.
Antti Helanto, defenseman: Helanto has been dubbed the “MVP” of the team so far this season by Cyclone Hockey head coach Jason Fairman. He leads the team with 27 points and 22 assists.
Trevor Lloyd, forward: Lloyd is enjoying a nice season, tying for third in goals and in sole possession of third for assists.
Matt Cooper, goaltender: Cooper has been pegged as one of the best goaltenders in the American Collegiate Hockey Association thus far, owning a 2.06 goals against average and a 92.9 save percentage.
Cyclone Hockey will take on the Midland Warriors at 8 p.m. Feb. 27 and 7:30 p.m. Feb. 28. Both games are at the Ames/ISU Ice Arena.
