Where to get your financial questions answered

Students who have questions about anything financial-related now have a central hub for professional one-on-one advising.
The Student Loan Education Office has been open since August 2014, but is holding its grand opening ceremony this Tuesday, Jan. 20, at 10 a.m.
Services offered:
One-on-one advising for:
Personal budgets
Student debt management
Loan counseling
Private loan entrance and exit counseling
The staff is also available to give presentations to a class, learning community, residence hall, greek community or another group on a variety of topics, including financial aid and student loans, the cost of borrowing, student loan repayment, credit versus debit and budgeting.
The office is free to all students. Appointments are encouraged, but not required. Students can call the office at 294-0677 to make a 30 minute appointment. Walk-ins are welcome.
The office is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m from Jan. 19-23.
