Police officers in Prairie West, Texas have released information regarding an extremely strange, ironic happening. This is a case of stupidity compounding on bad luck and topped off with a dash of bad timing.

Two Prairie West officers were conducting an investigation and eventual arrest against a drunk driver at around 3 a.m. Jan. 25. An unoccupied squad car was hit by another drunk driver, who was also arrested.

As the second arrest was being conducted, the other empty squad car was struck by a third, sober driver. This driver suffered minor injuries and was issued a ticket.

No officers were harmed, but the squad cars had to be towed off the scene. The highway on which the incident(s) occurred was shut down for an hour.

What a mess. Stop booze cruising, kids.
