Winterfest lineup

Iowa State’s annual Winterfest begins this week with a weeklong clothing drive and deals at the University Book Store. Winterfest will end with a comedian, ice skating and a Friday full of activities.
Here’s the lineup:
Dec. 1 through Dec. 5
Clothing drive:
Donations will go to the Ames Emergency Residence Project. Preferred donations include hats, socks and gloves.
Drop off locations include: Maple-Willow-Larch Hall Desk, Union Drive Community Center Mail Room, Wallace-Wilson Hall Desk, Frederiksen Court Community Center, Memorial Union Main Lounge across from post office, Lebaron Hall and Carver Hall.
Five days of deals and Winter Open House: 7:45 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the University Bookstore in the Memorial Union
Events and specials throughout the store.
Dec. 4
Art Mart: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Campanile Room in the Memorial Union
Glass, pottery, prints, jewelry and more. Proceeds support sponsoring organizations and local artists. Sponsored by The Workspace.
Kickoff Comedian: Cameron Esposito: 9 p.m., Maintenance Shop in the Memorial Union
Sponsored by the Student Union Board
Ice skating: 11 p.m. to 2 a.m., Ames/ISU Ice Arena
Free for first 400 participants.
