DIY: Holiday garland

How to make holiday garland
- Materials needed:
- Bag of fuzz pom balls in varying size
- Thick thread
- Large needle
- Hot glue gun and glue
Based on your holiday colors of choice, choose plush balls that match accordingly. To create a classic holiday look, use silver plush balls and add red for a pop of color.
First, knot the thread through the hole of the needle and then start pushing the needle through the core of the balls. Because there is a lot of variation in their appearance, make sure to alternate which kind of ball to use. There does not need to be an order, garland can follow an eclectic pattern.
Continue to pull the thread through all of the balls and space them out depending on how long you want to make the end product.
The smaller balls are more difficult to push the needle through, so wait and hot glue them on after spacing all of the plush balls out evenly.
Once all of the balls are pulled through and the smaller ones are glued on to the thread, cut the string and knot it roughly three times to secure the end.
Display your work around the Christmas tree, sprawled out on a table or along the fireplace mantel for all of the holiday guests to see.
