Chicago-native comedian Cameron Esposito visited Iowa State on Dec. 4 to perform a comedy routine as part of ISU’s Winterfest that kicks off this week.

Esposito emphasizes her lesbian background in her comedic routines, embracing the diverse experiences and hardships she endured growing up in Illinois. She hosts a popular web-series on Buzzfeed titled, “Ask a Lesbian,” where she answers questions from people both in or unaware of the LGBT community. 

The Maintenance Shop had a full audience of 150 seats as doors opened at 9 p.m.
