Highlights from ISU tennis’ meet in the Houston, Texas:

— Senior Meghan Cassens went 3-0 in singles and has gone 9-1 throughout the fall season. 

— The ISU tennis team overall went 3-0 in doubles and 4-1 in singles Nov. 2 against Big 12-rival Oklahoma. 

— Senior Ksenia Pronina and sophomore Samantha Budai went 2-1 in doubles together against strong Syracuse and Oklahoma pairings. 

— Junior Alejandra Galvis went 3-0 in doubles. Two of those wins came with senior Caroline Andersen and the other was with sophomore Talisa Merchiers. 

— Doubles pairings went 7-4 overall throughout the three days of competition. Singles matches went 11-10 overall. 

— At the end of last spring season, Syracuse University was ranked No. 64, Oklahoma No. 21 and Rice University No. 23.
