Here’s a quick look into 10 things that went on yesterday in the NFL:
1. Ray Rice’s appeal hearing is officially underway.
2. Adrian Peterson is camping with the NFL to allow him to start playing again.
3. Marcus Lattimore retires from NFL after never taking an NFL snap due to his ongoing problem with his injured knees.
4. Ryan Mallett is set to take over as starting QB for the Houston Texans after their week 10 bye.
5. Tony Romo sits out another practice with his hurt back. It is not looking good for him to start this week.
6. Tom Hardy’s career as a Carolina Panther is likely over after his trial was postponed.
7. Sammy Watkins injured his groin in practice and his status for their game on Sunday is questionable.
8. Josh McCown was named the starting QB for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
9. Lance Briggs hinted at retirement after this season.
10. Montee Ball stated that he knows Ronnie Hillman is a better running back for the Broncos right now and plans to be the back up when he recovers from his injury.
