MEN’S BASKETBALL: Iowa State defeats Oakland in season opener

No. 14 Iowa State knocked off Oakland in the season opener at Hilton Coliseum on Nov. 14. The final score was 93-82. Niang led the Cyclones in scoring with 30 points, and also became the 31st Iowa State player to score 1,000 career points.
