1. Texas (16-1, 8-1 Big 12): Texas bounced back from its first loss of the season with a four-set win in Ames, a place no visiting Big 12 team had won this year.

2. Oklahoma (16-6, 7-2 Big 12): Oklahoma only played one match this week, but a dominant sweep of West Virginia is enough to move the Sooners into sole possession of second place.

3. Kansas State (20-3, 7-2 Big 12): The Wildcats won their only match of the week, but it took them five sets to knock of Texas Tech in Manhattan, Kan.

4. Kansas (16-7, 4-5 Big 12): A five-set loss to Texas Christian didn’t look good for Kansas, but no team within striking distance of the Jayhawks made a serious push for the No. 4 slot.

5. Iowa State (11-9, 3-6 Big 12): Iowa State was competitive with Texas during the two sets of Nov. 2’s match — and even won set two — but the Cyclones looked out-of-sorts in the third and fourth sets. Moving forward, whichever version of the team that shows up in matches will have a huge impact on the rest of the season.

6. Baylor (13-11, 3-6 Big 12): While a win at Texas Tech is hardly anything to write home about, West Virginia slipping up allowed Baylor to slide into sixth place.

7. Texas Christian (14-10, 4-6 Big 12): The Horned Frogs made a strong push this week, taking down both opponents they faced — one of which was Kansas.

8. West Virginia (13-11, 3-7 Big 12): The Mountaineers spiraled out of control in October, winning just 12-of-36 sets played. Two losses last week and just one set won doesn’t bode well for West Virginia moving forward.

9. Texas Tech (15-7, 3-7 Big 12): Two losses in one week for a team that was already close to the bottom slides the Lady Raiders into last place. Home matches versus Texas and Kansas this week present big opportunities for Texas Tech to move up this week.

10. Oklahoma State (0-0, 0-0 Big 12): Tragedy befell the OSU women’s equestrian team this week when it dropped its second-straight match. It’s a long season, but things aren’t looking up for the 1-2 Cowgirls.
