Ames community members can give feedback about walking safety in the Campustown area.

The Government of Student Body and the city of Ames are holding a Campustown Safety Walk on Oct. 30.

The mission of the safety walk is to find problems in the area, such as unlit areas or uneven sidewalks. This is a chance to give the city feedback on behalf of students for their safety and well being.

Those who wish to participate should be at the fire station on Welch Ave. by 7 p.m. on Oct. 30 to help with the event. The event should be done within the hour.
