Tong Shao, an international student from China, was found dead in the trunk of a car Sept. 26. Shao was reported missing on Sept. 18 after not being heard from since Sept. 8. Students, faculty and city of Ames residents gathered to pay their respects for Shao on Central Campus on Oct. 3.
