A Walk in Their Shoes preview

People will have the chance to help raise awareness on what is often called a ‘silent epidemic’ on Oct. 19 at Iowa State.
A Walk in Their Shoes event will take place on Oct. 19 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Central Campus.
The event is meant to raise awareness about domestic violence. Various stations will also be set up around the event to help educate others on how to contribute to ending the issue.
A Walk in Their Shoes is being held by Alpha Chi Omega sorority, who is partnering with the Assault Care Center Extending Shelter Services and the Margaret Sloss Women’s Center.
The walk is free to the public, and there will be breakfast served to participants following the event.
To be a part of A Walk in Their Shoes, arrive at 10 a.m. on Oct. 19 on Central Campus.
