1. Junior center fielder Brittany Gomez, who finished last season with a batting average of .397, continued her rapid pace at the plate this fall season with a batting average of .516 in the lead-off spot.

2. Iowa State, as a team, put up a total of 93 runs over the eight games played from Oct. 4 to Oct. 18, which is an average of 11.625 runs per game. This offensive production average easily doubled the offensive number from last year (4.764 runs per game).

3. The Cyclones, in the fall season, finished with a record of 5-3, ending on a four-game winning streak after losing three out of four in the Big 4 Fall Tournament.

4. All but one of the ISU players on the roster saw time in the field this fall season. The one exception, out of the 19 players on the roster, is junior infielder Aly Cappaert, who is currently resting due to injury. Cappaert led the Cyclones in home runs, RBIs and walks last season.
