Cyclone Hockey lost on a last-second goal to the Lindenwood Lions 3-2 Oct. 17 at the Ames/ISU Ice Arena. Here are the three stars from the game.
1. Mike Lozano, Lion forward- Lozano scored the tying goal in the third period and put in the game-winning goal.
2. Tobias Nasgarde, Lion forward: Nasgarde put the Lions on top going into the first intermission after a power-play goal with 39.2 seconds left.
3. Zack Johnson, Cyclone forward- Johnson scored the second goal for the Cyclones, putting them up 2-1
Cyclone Hockey finishes its two-game series with CSCHL rival Lindenwood at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 18 at the Ames/ISU Ice Arena.
