Iowa State’s Coming Out Week is here, and there are many events to potentially attend. Here are a few to put on your calendars:

Monday, Oct. 13 from 4-6 pm there will be a kick-off in the Cardinal Room of the Memorial Union. Then from 6-8 pm tie tie-blankets in the Sloss House for project Linus.

Wednesday, Oct 15 the LGBTA Alliance meeting will be held in Carver 0268 from 7:30-9:00 pm.

Thursday, Oct. 16 attend the One Iowa at ISU and get involved and informed on the inclusive restroom project. The meeting will be held in Carver 118 from 5:15-6:15. Then from 8:00-9:30 attend the feature lecture: Cyd Zeigler Jr. presenting The LGBT Athletes and Moments that Changed the Sports World Forever. It will take place in the Sun Room at the Memorial Union.

Friday, Oct. 17 attend Iowa State’s coming out rally outside Park’s library from 12-1. Later that night, it’s encouraged for LGBT members attend the Cy Cinema movie, X-Men: Days of Future Past. It takes place in Carver 101 from 7-10.
