Champions League disappointments

Liverpool: After finishing second in the Barclays Premier League last season, Liverpool noticeably struggling after trading Luis Suarez to Barcelona.
After being shut out by a score of 3-0 at the hands of Real Madrid, Liverpool has two more games against Basel and Ludogorets Razgrad, both games to be played at Anfield, Liverpool’s home field.
Juventus: After winning the league championship in the best league in Italy last season, Serie A, Juventus was unable to make it past the group stages of the Champions League.
Juventus won the league last year by a gap of 17 points and is currently in first place in the league at this point of the season. However, Juventus is currently in third place in the group behind Atletico Madrid and Olympiacos, their points coming from a win against Malmo of Sweden.
Manchester City: In the past three seasons in the Barclays Premier League, Manchester City has been crowned champion twice. However, Manchester City has traditionally struggled in Champions League play.
Being in a group of world powerhouses such as Baynern Munich and Roma, Manchester City is currently in the group of death. Manchester City was only able to get one point from their two games against Bayern Munich and Roma and tied against CSKA Moscow.
If Manchester City is going to have a chance at moving on from the group stage, they will need to win two of their next three games which include two games at home and one game on the road at Roma.
