Iowa State Daily

Hello Iowa State Daily Alumni!

I’m Tristan Wade, and I have a new role of alumni coordinator at Iowa State.

Beginning now, we are excited to engage more with you! As an important part of the Iowa State Daily, we’d like to invite you to become more involved in what we’re doing and to support our students in whatever way you can. Additionally, we just launched our first alumni e-newsletter, a piece we will be sending out regularly throughout the year to keep in touch, and update you on what is going on at the organization. If you’d like to receive the e-newsletter and haven’t signed up yet, you can subscribe today.

As we mentioned, we want to give our alumni many ways to get involved in whatever way feels most fitting and beneficial to you. The most common donations are monetary gifts and dedications of time and/or expertise. The Daily appreciates any donations you are willing to give to our students. These gifts allow our students to continue their job serving the community and improving their skills.

If you would like to send a monetary gift, you can donate here today.

If you are interested in donating your time, whether that’s via training, mentoring, or something else, please email me at [email protected] and we can work on arranging a time to discuss what you can do. We’re open to any suggestions for what this would look like, so send any ideas!

We’re new to this. Communicating regularly and effectively with our alumni hasn’t been something we have done very well in our past, and we want to improve that. If there are any ideas, suggestions, or anything else you want to share or discuss, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me and send an email. I’d love to hear what you have to say, and I look forward to getting to know all of you a whole lot better!
