The Environmental Health and Safety building is located northwest of campus, with a mission to protect students and the environment at Iowa State through safety and preparedness. Emergency phones have been installed to give added protection to students, which can be found throughout campus.

Here are some emergency preparedness tips:

  1. Watch the emergency preparedness video from the Department of Environmental Health and Safety here.
  2. Sign up for ISU Alert through AccessPlus.
  3. Take Violent Incident Response Training through the ISU Police Department or environmental health and safety department.
  4. Follow ISU Police on Facebook and Twitter for emergency updates.
