Spring break fashion according to your destination

No matter if you are going to the East Coast or West Coast, somewhere in between or even out of the country for spring break, remember there are different vacation styles associated with different locations.
When traveling to the East Coast, dress fashion-forward, as this part of the country generally picks up trends the fastest, thanks to New York’s Fashion Weeks.
Because it won’t necessarily be warm, pack essentials like patterned leggings, studded sweaters and a favorite pair of dark wash jeans — be sure to include a pair of heeled booties.
If planning to wear dresses, make sure to pack tights to match. Wearing comfortable shoes, like a pair of nude flats that will match several outfits, may be the best option.
For those heading to the West Coast, pull out the capris pants and T-shirts. While the water may be a chilly, the weather will most likely be pleasant.
West Coast fashion is often laid-back and includes loose-fitting garments. Pack boyfriend jeans, over-sized off-the-shoulder crop tops and sneakers for a so-Cal look. It might be warm enough to walk the beach, so bring flip-flops too.
Dresses can be worn without tights and bring plenty of swimming suits — pack these garments in bright colors.
For those staying in the Midwest or heading north, the weather may be unpredictable — a winter coat and warm fleece-lined leggings are must-haves.
Military influenced jackets with boxy pockets in army green hues and sweaters with leather accents or stud detailing are on trend for this part of the country.
Bring at least two pairs of black leggings, but try to expand into other colors and patterns too, like ones with a herringbone print.
For the travelers planning on leaving the country to vacation somewhere warm, pack plenty of floral printed shorts and bring several sundresses.
If planning on spending a lot of time in the water, find fun ways to change what you wear over your swimming suit.
