Rapper/Actor Bow Wow will perform his first ever concert in Iowa at Seven Flags Event Center this Valentine’s Day.
Originally going by the stage name Lil’ Bow Wow, Shad Gregory Moss began rapping at the age of six, and by the age of eleven he was featured on the soundtrack of the movie Wild Wild West, along with his mentor and producer Jermaine Dupri. He dropped his first album, Beware of Dog, in 1999 to commercial success, selling over three millions copies in the U.S. Doggy Bag followed up on the success, reaching #11 on the Billboard 200 chart and was certified platinum.
Bow Wow dropped the Lil from his name in 2002, but continued to record gold and platinum selling albums such as Unleashed, Wanted, The Price of Fame, and his collaborative album with Omarion, Face Off. Since 2009, Bow Wow has been working on his album, Underrated, slated for a 2015 release. The rapper also is the host of BET’s 106 & Park.
Tickets are available through B Squared Recording Studios and Seven Flags Event Center. Prices are $30 for general admission, and $60 for VIP seating The show is all ages, doors open at 9 p.m.
