The ISU wrestling team continued its winning way on Friday, as it defeated Michigan State 30-10 in East Lansing, Mich.

Six Cyclones — Ryak Finch (125 pounds), John Meeks (133), Luke Goettl (141), No. 19 Michael Moreno (165), Tanner Weatherman (174) and No. 15 Boaz Beard (184) — registered major decisions, accounting for 24 of the team’s 30 points in the dual.

Iowa State’s top wrestler, No. 7 Kyven Gadson, won his match at 197 pounds by pinning Luke Jones in 4:09. This was Gadson’s second-straight pin.

With the win, the Cyclones (8-4, 1-2 Big 12) have won seven of their last nine duals since the Midlands Championships in late December.
