Leading Missouri heading into the final rotation by a slim .150 margin, Iowa State needed a strong performance to secure second place.
After Missouri vaulted, Iowa State performed its beam routines. Missouri scored a 49.000 on vault while Iowa State finished beam with a score of 48.850.
Oklahoma, at home, finished in first while Iowa State could not hold onto second place.
