The ISU tennis team rebounded from a seven-game losing streak to defeat Northern Iowa 7-0 on Sunday.

After losing multiple close matches, the team was finally able to end up on the right side of the scoring column against the Panthers (6-4).

The Cyclones (1-7) started off on the right foot, scoring the doubles point with wins from the team of Marie-Christine Chartier and Tessa Lang as well as Ksenia Pronina and Simona Cacciuttolo. It was just the second time this season the Cyclones have managed to win the doubles point.

In singles play, Iowa State got wins from all six players. Pronina and Cacciuttolo won their third straight matches and senior Maria Fernanda Macedo won her first singles match of the season.

Iowa State will leave on Tuesday for a trip to Hawaii. While in Honolulu the Cyclones will take on Eastern Michigan on Thursday and Hawaii on Saturday.
