ISU women tie for fifth at Landmark Tradition

The ISU women’s golf team placed in a tie for fifth overall in the Landfall Tradition, its final tournament of the 2011 fall season.

Finishing with a total of 923 strokes, the Cyclones tied Michigan State for fifth place at the Wilmington, N.C., tournament.

Among the top performers for the team were Sasikarn On-iam, who finished in a tie for ninth overall in the indivudal part of the tournament.

For On-iam, the ninth place result was her best finish in any tournament this fall. 

Senior Kiristen Paulson and sophomore Prima Thammaraks tied each other for 24th in the tournament. 

Purdue won the tournament with 904 total strokes.
