For the second straight weekend, the ISU volleyball team finished a tournament with a dominant performance, sweeping Florida International three sets to none (25-18, 25-9, 25-6).

The Cyclones (5-2) handed the Golden Panthers (6-1) their first loss of the season by committing only four errors while pounding down 41 kills on 82 swings to hit .451 for the match. Iowa State also held FIU to .071 hitting, while outblocking them 9.5 to one.

That hitting percentage was also affected by the tough serving and serve receive of the Cyclones, who had a season-high 11 service aces and were perfect on serve receive. Five of those aces came from libero Ashley Mass, who also led the team with 13 digs.

Kaylee Manns had 34 assists and made the all-tournament team, along with teammate Jen Malcom, who had six kills and six block assists and hit over .400 for the third time on the weekend.

Victoria Henson and Mary Bisenius led the team with 12 kills and both hit above .440.
