The information in the log comes from ISU Police Department records provided to the Daily. All those accused of violating the law are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

April 5

  • Officers assisted another agency with a computer-related investigation.
  • A vehicle driven by David Turner struck a parked truck in Lot 47.
  • A staff member reported the theft of a state license plate in Lot 10. The incident occurred sometime since April 1.

April 6

  • Officers received a report of people throwing full beer cans at pedestrians in Lot 56. Beau Wisecup, 24, 4136 Frederiksen Court, and Adam Russell, 19, 630 South 4th Street #27, were subsequently located, arrested, and charged with public intoxication. They were both transported to the Story County Jail.
  • Pascal Openshaw, 5516 Friley Hall, reported the theft of a bike from Friley Hall.
  • Vehicles owned and/or driven by Karen Lind and Douglas Brinkman were involved in a property damage collision at Highway 30 and Elwood Drive. Lind was cited for an unsafe lane change.
  • Vehicles owned and/or driven by Jean Goodloe and Heather Youngblut were involved in a property damage collision in Lot 59A.

April 7

  • Vehicles owned and/or driven by Lloyd Rasmussen and Aaron Steffan were involved in a property damage collision in Lot 3.
  • Vehicles owned and/or driven by Elizabeth Nache and Erin Coffelt were involved in a property damage collision at the Memorial Union.
  • Daric Olson, 3423 Willow Hall, reported the theft of a license plate from Lot 61.
  • Michelle Thede, 41, Boone, was arrested and charged with driving under suspension, operating without registration, and failing to have proof of insurance at 13th Street and Haber Road. She was subsequently released on citation.

April 8

  • Officers received a report of persons throwing or launching water balloons onto Lincoln Way from the Memorial Union Ramp. The people responsible were located and warned.
  • John Scott, 20, of Milburn, was cited for underage possession of alcohol Little Street and Welch Avenue.
  • Ryan Hultquist, 25, 1004 Pinon Drive #3, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated at Lincoln Way and Elwood Drive.
  • Officers received a report of an unresponsive person on the 100 block of Hayward Avenue. Joshua Kautzky, 30, 216 Campus Ave. #3 was subsequently arrested and charged with public intoxication. He was transported to the Story County Jail.
  • Vehicles owned and/or driven by Lana Greve and Delora Pfeiffer were involved in a property damage collision in Lot 6+.
  • A staff member reported vandalism to an unlocked office in Gilman Hall. The incident occurred sometime since April 4.
  • Vehicles owned and/or driven by Katherine Lyons and Hanna Hansen were involved in a property damage collision in Lot 112.
  • Officers received a report of a suspicious odor in the hall in Larch Hall. Adam Sweeney, 20, of Lenox, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance. Dustin Goldman, 19, 2349 Larch Hall, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were subsequently released on citation.
