The information in the log comes from ISU Police Department records provided to the Daily. All those accused of violating the law are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Jan. 28
- Nkereuwem Tim, 22, 1407 Jefferson St., was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated at Lincoln Way and Wilmoth Avenue.
- Officers received a report of two men loading a large television into a vehicle at Larch Hall.
- Bart Niebuhr, 19, Northfield, Minn. and Heidi Rivisto, 19, 7317 Larch Hall, were cited for underage possession of alcohol in Larch Hall.
- Andrew Horn, 20, 4231 Frederiksen Court, was cited for underage possession of alcohol in Larch Hall.
- Nick Dryer, 1218 Eaton Hall, reported his vehicle was broken into in Lot S4.
- A vehicle that left the scene struck a car owned by Dana Page in Lot 9.
Jan. 29
- Cory Ehrecke, 20, 325 Welch Ave., was cited for underage possession of alcohol on the 300 block of Welch Avenue.
- Stephen Slater, 19, 510 Billy Sunday Road, was arrested and charged with public intoxication at Chamberlain Street and Stanton Avenue.
- A student reported that a group of individuals yelled racial slurs and profanity at him on Knapp Street.
- James Nieman, 24, Nevada, was arrested and charged with public intoxication at Phoenix and Mesa Verde.
- An officer observed a window of a parked car was broken in Lot 63. After being notified of the damage, the owner reported that nothing was taken from the vehicle.
- Several vehicles sustained window damage in Lot S7. One had a stereo removed.
- A 16-year-old female from Colo was taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia at Sheldon Avenue and Lincoln Way. She was referred to Juvenile Court Services and released to the care and custody of her parents.
- A staff member reported a group of disruptive customers in the recreation area in the Memorial Union. The group left the area upon officer request.
Jan. 30
- Tyler Pontier, 19, 3357 Friley Hall, and Gary Beck, 19, 4249 Welch Hall, were cited for underage possession of alcohol at Knapp Street and Welch Avenue.
- Martin Passolano, 52 of New Lenox, Ill., was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated at Campus Avenue and Lincoln Way.
Jan. 31
- Two residents were observed carrying road signs into a building in Frederiksen Court. Officers will investigate to determine whether the items were legitimately purchased.
- A vehicle was towed from Lot 59D to Transportation Services .
- A student reported being harassed by an out-of-state acquaintance via telephone and computer since September on Knapp Street.
