July 5

  • A staff member reported receiving a number of harassing telephone calls in the Memorial Union.

July 6

  • Vehicles owned and/or driven by William Larson, Cynthia Troyer, Jin Li, and Lucindo Santos were involved in a property damage collision.

July 7

  • Andrew VanMeter, 20, 2140 Ashmore Court, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated in the area of Ash Avenue and Storm Street.
  • A vehicle that left the scene struck a car owned by Kelly Kyle in the area of Lot 34.
  • Vehicles owned and/or driven by Benjamin Fitting and Hyong Lee were involved in a property damage collision in the area of 13th Street and Haber Road.

July 8

  • A vehicle owned by Paul Vecchi struck a parked car owned by Jayson Heesch in the area of Lot 29.
  • Vehicles owned and/or driven by Reginald George and Margaret Laware were involved in a property damage collision in the area of Stange Road.

July 9

  • Vehicles owned and/or driven by Larry Hanft and Gerald Deal were involved in a property damage collision in the area of Lot 8.
  • A staff member reported the theft of a projector from Heady Hall.
  • Joann Cohea, 4101 Trailridge Circle, reported the theft of a bike.
  • A construction supervisor reported damage to Buchanan Hall.
  • Chad Valentine, 18, Nevada, was arrested in the area of Gray Avenue and Lincoln Way, and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

July 10

  • A fight in the area of Lincoln Way and Welch Avenue resulted in three people being injured. The suspects were gone by the time officers arrived.
  • A resident of Eaton Hall reported possible fraud involving his bank account.

July 11

  • Mark Schroeder, 42, 3013 Kellogg Ave., was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated in the area of Pammel Drive and Stange Road.
  • Several residents in Eaton Hall reported the theft of money from their respective dorms.
